Switching to a weight-loss program may be ideal if you’re looking to keep your portions in check. For that reason, a diet delivery program may be something you might want to consider.
BistroMD offers realistic meal plans, with adequate portions of quality, healthy food.
Foundation of Healthy Weight Loss
We’re built on the foundation of healthy weight-loss that is based on real science and the unique knowledge that food is medicine and we carry this philosophy over into our meal plans.
We are not going to lie: we want to change your perspective. We no longer want you to believe in dieting, we want you to believe in health.
Blindly switching to a random meal plan is not going to benefit you if you do not understand the science behind it. There are certain components that every weight-loss program needs.
We believe you need a scientific balance of carbohydrates, like vegetables, whole grains and fiber along with lean protein and healthy fat ratios.
When you indulge in our delicious meal plans, every bite you take follows this proven approach for healthy weight loss. Our program provides 1,100-1,400 calories daily with 40-50% total caloric intake from lean, adequate protein, 20-25% of calories from healthy fats, and 30-35% from complex carbohydrates.
We offer two different programs: a men and a women’s program. Our meal plans focus on metabolism correction so you not only lose unwanted fat; but you keep it off for years to come.
Our Registered Dietitians plan your daily and weekly menu and our 200 delicious entrees are hand-prepared by our chefs and conveniently delivered to your door.
You won't be disappointed. Our meal plans are guaranteed to make your mouth water.
So what are the benefits to eating right?
Healthy fat helps control hunger:
We don’t give you bad fats that are going to make you feel sluggish hours later. We incorporate good fats into our meal plans, such as salmon, tuna, nuts and vegetables. These fats make your cholesterol, heart and body much happier. They also make you feel full too.
Smaller portions are better:
Restaurants want us to think that they’re giving us a bargain so they give us servings for two, disguised as a portion for one. However, the more food we eat, the higher our daily caloric intake will be, causing us to gain weight.
Think about it. If you only eat three large meals a day, there will be fluctuations in your blood sugar due to the gaps between meals. Proper diet and nutrition is actually supported by eating three smaller meals each day, with healthy snacks in between.
This philosophy is one of the guiding principles of our meal plans and just one more reason why switching to a meal plan is a good idea for your health.
