Garlic Butter Mushrooms Recipe

• 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 Tbsp olive oil
• 1 lb cremini mushrooms, thinly sliced
• 2 Tbsp fresh thyme leaves, chopped*
• 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, chopped*
• 1 Tbsp minced garlic
• Salt and pepper to taste
*Dried thyme and parsley can also be used, just use a simple ratio: 1 Tbsp fresh herbs to 1 tsp dried. This is because dried herbs are more concentrated in flavor compared to fresh, thus requiring less. Always feel free to add more or less to taste.
1. Melt butter and olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat.
2. Add mushrooms to the skillet, making sure to not overcrowd for even cooking. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Heat until mushrooms are golden brown, tender, and slightly crispy on the edges.
3. Stir in thyme, parsley, and garlic and cook for another minute, until fragrant.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with extra thyme and parsley as desired.

Use a different type of mushroom.
Many mushroom varieties exist, so use a different kind as desired. These may include:
