Here are a few helpful tips to get you on the right track to healthy meal living:

Aim for Balance

Try to eat from each food group—grains, protein foods, vegetables and fruit and dairy. Most importantly, listen to your body. Eat when you’re hungry and stop when you feel satisfied.

Look for variety

Be adventurous. Choose different foods from each food group. For example, choose a different fruit every day. Eating a variety of food will give you those healthy meals your body’s been craving and it will also ensure that you’re getting all the nutrients you need.

Practice Moderation

Don’t have too much or too little of one thing. All foods, if eaten in moderation, can be part of healthy meals. Even sweets can be okay if you use your best judgment.
