Sale weeks are primarily accustomed to geographical areas, though Sunday and Wednesday are claimed to be the best days to grocery shop for the highest discounts. However, take advantage of internet resources and grocery stores ads, making sure to shop as soon as they come out to lessen the risk of stock being dwindled or gone later on in the week. While Hungry
Perhaps one of the worst times to grocery shop is not based on crowds or sales... but when hunger strikes! If grocery shopping leading up to mealtime, choose a nutritious option to snack on in between, including Greek yogurt, a piece of fruit, or a cheese stick.

When Tired
Like being hungry, shopping while tired is also discouraged. Plummeted energy levels can cause forgetfulness and perhaps another trip to the store. Additionally, people tend to crave less-than-nutritious food items when tired, increasing the risk of sugar and fat-laden snacks and desserts to be carried out in a grocery bag.

During Rush Hour
Although weekday evenings can be one of the best times to grocery shop, it is important to head to the store after rush hour. Not only do stores tend to be crowded, but you are more likely to be hungry and tired following a long workday. Sunday mornings following church and significant game days are also known to be busy times at the store.

Make a List
Along with heading to the store with a full and satisfied belly, make and craft a list. Not only does it direct and flow your grocery store run more efficiently, but lessens the risk of grabbing unpredicted items and spending more money than anticipated. Shop the Perimeter
As a general rule, shop the perimeter of the grocery store. The entrance and border tends to feature colorful produce, meats, milk and dairy products, and other fresh products.
