March is National Nutrition Month

March begins National Nutrition Month®, a campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics that is focused on helping people make informed food choices and develop sound eating and physical activity habits. Between what you hear on TV and read on the internet, eating right and making informed decisions about food can seem like an overwhelming challenge, but it does not have to be. Registered dietitians can help you filter through the abundance of misinformation that exists and provide accurate, personally tailored, nutritional advice.

Did you know that program members have free access to bistroMD's registered dietitians, right at your fingertips? Christy Shatlock, MS, RD and Sarah Hallenberger, RD are passionate about creating customizable menus to suit your needs and providing support in your lifestyle change journey. Our registered dietitian support is a unique feature offered to all of our bistroMD members.

They are food and nutrition experts who will partner with you to translate the science of healthy nutrition and apply it to your life. Whether you need food and nutrition information based on fact, are curious how a healthy lifestyle improves health and reduces chronic disease, or simply would like meal ideas for My Night, our dietitians are here to help. BistroMD's dietitians are also available for scheduled weekly check in appointments designed to guide, offer advice, motivate, and provide support to help you achieve life transforming wellness.
