Diet Food Plan: bistroMD Will Help You Reach Your Goals

You're going to need a good diet food plan if you want to lose weight because with so many fad diets and gimmicks out there, finding a solid diet food plan can be a bit of a challenge.

At bistroMD, we are not a fad diet and we are certainly not a gimmick. We believe in health, not dieting. In fact, we want to change your perception of weight-loss and move beyond the agony of restrictive and calculated portions. At bistroMD, our diet food plans are based on the real science and the unique knowledge that food is medicine.

This concept was developed by one of our founders, Caroline J. Cederquist, M.D., who has 20 years of experience in her field. She works with our team of Registered Dietitians to ensure that the nutritional requirements for healthy and long-term weight loss are met in each and every entree.

We make sure every bite you take follows this proven approach for healthy weight loss. Our program provides these nutritional requirements: 1,100-1,400 calories daily with 40-50% total caloric intake from lean, adequate protein, 20-25% of calories from healthy fats, and 30-35% from complex carbohydrates.

Those are a lot of numbers that are essentially saying that you still get to eat the good food you love, while still losing weight. We're not going to give you junk food because that would defeat the purpose of a diet food plan; but we are going to give you delicious and mouthwatering entrees that are handcrafted and artfully prepared by our talented chefs.

Take our popular breakfast entree, Berry Crepes for example. These colorful and sweet berry crepes are prepared with a low-fat cream cheese, laced with vanilla bean extract and scented with a pinch of ground cinnamon for extra flavor. And that's not all either. These tasty morsels are complemented by a side of deliciously rich mixed berry compote and a healthy portion of delicious sausage.

That's just one of the amazing entrees you'll be able to choose from our diet food plan if you choose to become a program member.

Our other founder, Ed Cederquist, loves cooking. He travels the world in search of inspiration for our diet food plan entrees. Once he comes back and shares the goods, our team of extraordinary chefs and dieticians work together to come up with high quality, tasty meals that are actually healthy. We thrive off of integrity, meaning we would not offer you something for your plate that we would not eat at our own dinner table.

This means you won't find any Trans fats, artificial colorings, MSG, chemical fillers, nitrates, added sulfites or the artificial sweetener aspartame in our entrees.

Our programs:

If you're interested in our diet food plan entrees, we have two programs to choose from. After you select the men's or women's program, you'll have the option to receive five-or-seven-days worth of delicious entrees from our diet food plan delivery program. They range from $130-$160 and you'll have the option to include EATS, our essential and tasty snacks, for $1.50 a snack. Women receive two snacks per day and men receive three snacks per day.
