Dr. Caroline Cederquist and her team of highly-skilled dietitians, nurse practitioner and support staff work at the clinic full-time to better serve you. Dr. Cederquist started this medical practice over ten years ago and her focus is the complete management of weight loss. Her-Total Approach to weight loss treats your total person. Firmly grounded in medical science and clinical experience, Dr. Cederquist’s treatment philosophy integrates nutrition, behavioral education and medical management to form a complete plan that is tailored to fit you and your lifestyle.

Dr. Caroline Cederquist
I've made it my life's work to foster healthier lifestyles for my patients, and I specialize in medical weight management and promotion of wellness for all.
Dr. Cederquist served on the Board of Bariatric Physicians and has appeared on television shows such as Dr. Phil, Ricki Lake, and Today. Author of “Helping Your Overweight Child, A Family Guide”.
As a mother of four children, Dr Cederquist enjoys family time, attending spinning classes, as well as helping patients acheive optimal health and wellness.
Adriana Kinn, ARNP
Adriana C. Kinn, ARNP, has purposed her life toward improving the health of her patients. A graduate from Vanderbilt University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau - the prestigious Honor Society of Nursing - Adriana has advanced clinical training in weight management, preventative medicine, and science-based medical treatment.
Adriana partnered with Dr. Caroline Cederquist in January of 2002. As many of her patients can attest, her experience and intellectual pursuit of evidence-based methods of improving overall health and wellness have proved invaluable in improving their quality of life.
In her spare time, Adriana enjoys going to the pool with her husband and two children, staying active, and of course, healthy eating.
Donna Alpert LMHC, CST
Donna Alpert, MS, LMHC, CST is a licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Sex Therapist. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Barry University. Donna received a Master of Science degree from Nova University and Sex Therapy Certification form the Florida Post-Graduate Sex Therapy Training Institute. She has also done post graduate training with the Fielding Institute in Clinical Psychology.
Donna has been a psychotherapist in private practice with Dr. Caroline Cederquist at the Cederquist Medical Wellness Center for over nine years. She specializes in weight management, women’s issues, and sex therapy. She worked as a psychotherapist at the Diabetes Center of Naples, the Bowen Diet Center, and the Willough Psychiatric Hospital of Naples.
Donna has also been the Chief Financial Officer of WAVV FM 101.1 Radio Station since 1987.
When Donna isn’t working she enjoys pilates and tennis. She is involved with a fun book club that sometimes reads a book. She attends Unity of Bonita Church with her family. Her newest charitable endeavor, besides the many charities WAVV FM 101.1 helps with, is cooking with her church for the Café of Life.
Holly Kistler, Dietitian
Joy Lynn Post, Dietitican
A Florida State University Graduate with a degree in Food and Nutrition Science, with three years of specialized training in weight management, Joy Post, Dietitian with Dr. Caroline Cederquist, has a take on weight loss unlike any other. With the aim of balanced nutrition, and improving metabolic states in her patients, she has counseled hundreds of patients and helped them lose hundreds of pounds.
Joy is currently performing graduate studies at The Florida State University, furthering her research and extending her knowledge base in the nutrition field. She also manages the Cederquist Medical Wellness Center website, keeping patients and area physicians informed about the latest research in the metabolic science of weight loss.
In her spare time, Joy enjoys taking yoga classes, playing soccer, and experimenting with healthy, delicious foods in the kitchen.
Nicole Young, Dietitian
Nicole Young, a Registered Dietitian, graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition & Food Science and Dietetics. She then went on to complete her dietetic internship at Keene State College in New Hampshire. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the Florida Dietetic Association.
Nicole chose a career in nutrition because of her interest in helping others live a healthy lifestyle, as well as her love for gardening, cooking and food. Nicole’s goal is to educate patients on healthy eating habits to improve and prevent metabolic disorders, and to promote long-term weight management.
Her expertise focuses on weight management, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, food allergies and food intolerances. She has two years of specialized training in weight management with Dr. Caroline Cederquist. Her passion is to empower others to prevent or self-manage chronic conditions by working directly with each patient to develop achievable dietary goals that can be maintained for a lifetime.
Nicole is enthusiastic about nutrition and wellness and feels very fortunate to be able to share her passion and expertise in working with such an amazing team at Cederquist Medical Wellness Center. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, Zumba, hiking, biking, cooking and experimenting with new recipes.
Tessa Prior-Pullins, Dietitian
Melissa Tuff - Medical Assistant
Melissa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baker College in Michigan with a degree in Applied Science with a major in Medical Assisting and a minor in Psychology. After graduating at the top of her class she then continued for her Certifications in which she attained a scored amongst the top 10th percentile in the Nation. She is currently finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Service Administration and planning to pursue a degree in nursing upon completion.
At Cederquist Medical Wellness Center Melissa is employed as a Certified Medical Assistant utilizing her skills to perform venipunctures, injections, and preparing patients to see the Nurse Practitioner or Dr. Cederquist. Being no stranger to weight loss herself, Melissa can empathize with the patients and their desire to become healthier individuals which gives her an added insight into this field.
Melissa is a devoted volunteer with the National Kidney Foundation where she utilizes her resourcefulness to raise funds, encourage organ donation awareness, and works with kidney patients as a Peer Mentor. She also operates a webpage that assists with connecting living donors to recipients. In her spare time you will often find her working on her autobiography or making jewelry.
Rebecca Vanchura - Office Manager
Rebecca Vanchura, currently the office manager for Cederquist Medical Wellness, received a B.A. in Africana Studies at the University of South Florida. While at USF, Rebecca received awards for “Highest GPA in the Major Coursework” and “Highest General GPA in the Africana Studies Department”. She was in “Who’s Who Among American High School Students” 2002 edition and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Rebecca has worked for Cederquist Medical Wellness Center for over a year and is very knowledgeable about the program. She has not only seen the success of patients committing to the program but she has also lost 30 pounds herself by following the recommendations by Dr. Cederquist.
