Guilt-Free Strawberry Gelato Recipe

1 1/2 pounds frozen strawberries
1/4-1/3 cup organic agave nectar
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
Garnish with a sliced strawberry
Start by placing half of the strawberries in a food processor and pulse until chopped. Simply add fresh lemon juice, plain Greek yogurt, and the remaining strawberries. Adjust the amount of organic agave nectar based on the ripeness of the berries; process all ingredients until smooth. You may need to break up chunks of berries or scrape the sides of your food processor to achieve a smooth consistency.
It’s best to serve the gelato immediately. Or you can freeze it for about 20-30 minutes, before serving if you prefer more solid gelato. If it freezes solid, pulse again in food processor before serving. Garnish with a fresh sliced strawberry.
