How to Make Mason Jar Salads

1. Clean out and dry Mason jar along with the tight-fighting lid.
2. Layer ingredients from bottom to top: wet ingredients including dressing, moisture-resistant veggies (such as carrots), "dryer" veggies and salad greens along with a protein source and anything crunchy. Ultimately, keep dryer ingredients towards the top of the jar to prevent a soggy and damp salad.
3. Store in fridge until ready to transport or serve.
4. Prior to eating, and with the lid sealed tight, shake the jar until all ingredients and dressings are evenly distributed among one another.
