"A year ago in March, I made the commitment to try BistroMD for 90 days. I figured anyone could stick with something for 3 months. I found that the food was good and the program was working, so I added another month. On July 1, 2008, I made the leap to “going it on my own”, applying the principles of portion control, calorie and fat control, and making sensible food choices that I had learned from BistroMD to my daily personal food choices. I also kept up my new exercise regimen of walking at least 30-45 minutes a day when weather permitted.
Since March 1, 2008, I have lost 65 pounds. On March 1, 2008, I weighed 235 pounds. Today I weigh 170. I went from a size 42 waist to size 32-33. I went from a size XL shirt to a medium, and can even wear the “athletic” fit styles. My jacket size is currently 42S…down from a 48R. (I needed the length to cover the tummy)
