How Hundreds of You are Choosing Health

Since the launch of BistroMD’s Choose Health Challenge, many of you have chosen health, and have decided to take the initiative of changing your lives for the better.

“We are really thrilled with the feedback we’ve heard from all the people who are deciding to choose health,” says Ed Cederquist, the CEO of BistroMD. “It motivates us to continue our mission to helping people change their lives by making healthier choices.”

Here is a recap of just some of the posts we’ve received of people who are choosing health.

Vicki Pace

“I choose health to gain an ultimate level of fitness. To do my best to help prevent diseases that are preventable through better dietary choices, exercise and weight loss. My family has suffered a lot in losing loved ones. I’m fighting to gain all the healthy benefits I can. I’ve started training for my first 5k race and I plan to run a marathon next year. My success begins here with making healthier diet and exercise choices. These are the tools I need to gain strength to cross the finish line and win my race. Family and friends, please click “like” to help support me in my challenge. Thanks!”

Irene Huston

“I will walk 20 minutes per day, and drink eight glasses of water to start my new drive for health.”

-Irene Huston

Elli Wolf

“Teaching my kids about nutrition and keeping them healthy started the day they were born. I chose to nurse them for the first year to give them a healthy head start. I prepared all their baby food from scratch, and limited their juice intake. I taught them that most foods are safe to eat, if you eat them in moderation. If my son wants chips, he will measure our a serving and not eat them mindless out of the bag. They can have soda, but if we eat out, 90% of the time, they will choose water. Both of my kids know how to check the labels and only eat a serving. I always keep fruit on the counter for a quick snack. They help me cook and know about healthier options to cook with. My son now likes his chili with chicken instead of beef. We stay active by taking our three dogs for a walk every day. I think the most important thing is for you to talk to your kids about it. They don’t know what’s healthy or not if we don’t teach them.”

-Elli Wolff

Jessica Hartung

“I am challenging myself to get out and be more active—not just working out wise, but in that whole ‘actually going out and doing things’ regard as well. You can’t leave footprints in the proverbial sands of time sitting on your butt.”

-Jessica Hartung
