Daily Exercise Plan

One of the most pressing issues today is the ever increasing problem of obesity in our country, especially among our youth. Thousands, if not millions, of dollars have been spent on advertisements and campaigns that focus on convincing the masses to exercise and to diet right. But it seems that there has been no significant change in our country’s health, and there is no evidence that it shall improve in the future.

This lack of improvement can be attributed to an oversaturation of the advertising market. When young people today see any type of commercial or article on the problem of obesity, they simply dismiss it because they are sick and tired of hearing the same old lines. They believe that there is nothing that they could possibly do to help the situation. In order for any change to occur, America is going to have to come up with new ideas on how help its people with the problem of obesity.

With the level of technology today, most, if not all, of the youth of America have access to the internet. It only makes sense to begin the plan of helping our country there. One of the most popular websites found on the internet is YouTube, which is a site dedicated to allowing people to post videos online and share them with the world. My idea to help our country’s problem is to start a series of videos on YouTube explaining different, and fun, techniques for staying healthy that will appeal to anyone who watches them.

The series would be called “Epic Exercise.” It would focus on ways to exercise that involve your interests and talents. This would make it so that even though you are exercising, you are doing activities that meet your interests and are fun for you to do. For example, say you are into music; one of my videos would be devoted to showing people how turning on music and doing activities such as cleaning can be a more vigorous and fulfilling exercise.

These types of videos will inform people of hundreds of new ways to stay in shape, while having fun at the same time. With the help of this series, America will start to believe again in staying healthy and living a long and fulfilling life.
