BistroMD’s Healthy Before Skinny Campaign Sets to Turn Tables on Traditional Stereotypes
An upcoming campaign by BistroMD called Healthy Before Skinny, seeks to demolish the typical stereotype that being super skinny automatically makes you healthy.
“With spring and summer just around the corner, we want people to know that health should be their biggest concern, not pounds lost or swimsuit size,” says Al Montone, a member of BistroMD’s marketing team and creator of the campaign. “We hope people will be inspired by this message and that we can help put to rest some popular stereotypes.”
The campaign, set to launch next month on BistroMD’s social media pages, seeks to defy the typical beliefs about beauty and what it truly means to be healthy.
Four out of five American women say they’re dissatisfied with the way they look. Instead of focusing on pounds, BistroMD is focusing on health.
“If you agree with this, join BistroMD, and help us spread the message April 11-May 19th,” says Al. “If you help us spread this message, you can be entered for a chance to win a month’s worth of BistroMD entrees!”
Look for the winner to be announced the week of May 13th, in celebration of National Women's Health Week!
